Flappy Bird addicts, rejoice! The mobile gaming phenomenon is coming back, and this time in multiplayer mode.

Dong Nguyen, the man behind DotGears Studios, told CNBC that the game will be coming back this August  in a new version in which players will be able to compete with others in real time.

Nguyen, became a celebrity when Flappy Bird began gaining attention on iOS and Android devices and topped both platforms’ free charts. The game was downloaded 50 million times before it was removed from  the App Store for being “too addictive”.

Nguyen has been also reportedly working on other games.
