Meta Glasses officially land in the UAE starting at AED 1,160

Meta is bringing its expanding smart glasses lineup to the UAE, giving the market its first official launch of Meta Glasses while simultaneously introducing the new Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3.

Announced during Meta Connect 2026, Meta Glasses can now be ordered in the UAE starting at AED 1,160. The launch expands Meta’s wearable push beyond Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 and Oakley Meta products already available locally, while putting the UAE among a new group of markets receiving Meta’s broader glasses range.

There are plenty of styles involved. Meta is introducing an Ivory version of the Kylie Jenner Starfire design alongside a LISA collection featuring two prescription-compatible models: the Adventurer LISA Edition with a Moonlit Sky frame and Blush lenses, and the Capri LISA Edition with an Eclipse cat-eye frame and grey lenses.

More interesting from a hardware perspective is Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, which is also coming to the UAE and starts at AED 1,960. The latest generation gets a slimmer design, longer battery life and a dedicated action button providing quicker access to Meta AI and other functions. New Aviator and Zena frames are joining the range as well.

But Meta Connect wasn’t really just about glasses. Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent, is becoming the connective tissue between its software and hardware ambitions.

A new Muse Realtime Avatar model allows users to have real-time video and voice conversations with the assistant, while Muse can continue working on tasks in the background. Meta says it can also operate apps on a Mac and even gets its own email address for handling tasks.

Muse is eventually heading to Meta’s AI glasses too, where the idea becomes considerably more interesting. Instead of constantly pulling out a phone, Meta imagines users asking their glasses to turn conversations into actions, manage shopping lists or arrange plans. Muse itself is currently available in the US, Canada and Mexico, so UAE users shouldn’t expect the complete experience immediately.

Meta also revealed Muse Charm, a pocket-sized device built specifically for interacting with the assistant, although pricing and detailed availability are still to come.

Elsewhere, Meta introduced camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses with up to 12 hours of battery life, plus another 48 hours through the charging case. And coming in spring 2027 are Meta VR Glasses, which the company is positioning as a combination of personal cinema, gaming system and spatial-computing workspace.

For the UAE, though, the biggest news is much simpler: Meta’s smart-glasses experiment is no longer something happening elsewhere. With prices starting at AED 1,160 and a much larger selection of frames arriving, Meta is giving the category its first serious local push.
