Ride quality follows a similar philosophy. On well-maintained roads, the suspension isolates passengers from imperfections with impressive composure, while road and wind noise remain remarkably low even at motorway speeds. On rougher surfaces, particularly sharp-edged bumps, the suspension can feel slightly unsettled, reminding you that European manufacturers still have a slight advantage in chassis tuning. Nevertheless, the overall balance between comfort and control is excellent, and few buyers are likely to find fault with its everyday behaviour.

The biggest challenge facing XPENG is no longer engineering. It is perception. Many buyers still associate Chinese automotive brands with budget alternatives, yet the G6 demonstrates that the industry has moved far beyond that stereotype.
