Disney+ is aiming to keep viewers entertained well past the summer holidays with a slate of major releases now streaming in the UAE. The platform’s September line-up combines blockbuster films, new seasons of fan-favorite series, and fresh original content, alongside a promotional offer that allows subscribers in the region to sign up for AED 9.99 per month for the first three months.
Among the biggest draws is the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, which debuted on Disney+ September 3. The film revisits the story of Lilo, a lonely Hawaiian girl, and Stitch, the mischievous alien she adopts as a pet, balancing comedy, heart, and chaos in equal measure.
Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts is another major addition. The film brings together an unlikely team of antiheroes—Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker—forced into a mission orchestrated by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. As the group navigates betrayal, moral dilemmas, and personal histories, viewers are left to wonder whether they will self-destruct or find redemption.
On the series front, Only Murders in the Building returns for its fifth season with new weekly episodes. The true-crime-obsessed trio played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez find themselves entangled in deeper mysteries that test their partnership and take them into New York’s darker corners.
Also arriving this month is the second season of High Potential on September 17. The crime drama follows a single mother with extraordinary deductive skills as she continues her unconventional partnership with a by-the-book detective. On the same day, Disney and Pixar’s new animated feature Elio premieres, telling the story of a boy with an overactive imagination who is thrust into an intergalactic adventure that forces him to confront who he truly is.
The current UAE promotion runs until September 27, giving new and returning subscribers access to the full Disney+ library—including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star—for less than AED 10 a month during the initial three-month period.
With content ranging from FX’s The Bear and Alien: Earth to Pixar animations and Marvel blockbusters, Disney+ is positioning itself as a streaming destination that balances fresh originals with a deep back catalog.
