Swifties rejoice! The highly anticipated “Eras Tour” concert film has arrived on Disney+, complete with a makeover of the platform’s homepage. Die-hard fans can now delve into curated categories based on Swift’s musical eras, offering a convenient way to revisit their favorite chapters of her career.
But the real treat lies in the exclusive content offered by Disney+. The film boasts the return of “Cardigan,” a fan-favorite performance that was missing from the theatrical release. Four additional acoustic songs, including “I Can See You,” “Death By A Thousand Cuts,” “You Are in Love,” and “Maroon” (accompanied by another performance of “You’re On Your Own Kid”), have also been added as a special bonus after the credits. These new additions ensure that even those who saw the previous versions of the film will have a reason to revisit it and experience the full “Eras Tour” magic.
While the Disney+ version offers a wealth of content, some fans might miss certain energetic performances that were present in the theatrical and on-demand releases. These include the powerful ballad “Long Live,” a song that served as a closing anthem for many of Swift’s past tours. Also missing is “The Archer,” a fan favorite from her critically acclaimed “Lover” album, known for its introspective lyrics and pulsating beats. Two upbeat tracks, “Wildest Dreams” and “No Body, No Crime,” are also absent from the Disney+ cut. “Wildest Dreams” is a synth-pop odyssey that takes listeners back to the 1980s, while “No Body, No Crime” is a playful murder mystery featuring clever wordplay and a swaggering country sound.
