The Sopranos is an American crime drama television series created by David Chase. The show was broadcast on HBO from January 10, 1999, to June 10, 2007, lasting six seasons and 86 episodes.

The Sopranos tells the story of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), a New Jersey-based Italian-American mobster who struggles to balance the conflicting requirements of his home life with the criminal organization he heads. The show explores themes of family, loyalty, betrayal, and the American Dream.
