Fans at Comic Con Experience 2024 in São Paulo were treated to a first look at the upcoming season of Apple TV+’s acclaimed thriller, “Severance.” Creator Dan Erickson, along with stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, and Tramell Tillman, presented the trailer and teased what’s in store for the employees of Lumon Industries.
Season two picks up with Mark Scout and his colleagues grappling with the consequences of their actions in the first season. As they delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding Lumon and the severance procedure, they face new challenges and unsettling revelations.
The returning cast includes Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Newcomers Sarah Bock and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson join the ensemble for this season.
Ben Stiller returns as executive producer and director, helming five episodes. The directing team also includes Uta Briesewitz, Sam Donovan, and Jessica Lee Gagné.
The first episode of the 10-episode season will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on January 17th, 2025, with subsequent episodes released weekly.
“Severance” has garnered significant critical acclaim, earning numerous awards and nominations, including 14 Emmy Award nominations for its first season.
