Heart of Stone is a spy thriller film directed by Tom Harper and written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. It stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt, and Sophie Okonedo. The film follows a top-secret intelligence operative who is forced to team up with a mysterious and dangerous CIA agent on a mission to stop a global terrorist organization.

Overall the movie is watchable, but lacks anything new, and is very predictable. We don’t think the movie will leave a lasting impression, due to its unoriginal plot and weak character development.

If you’re a fan of Gal Gadot or action movies in general, you may find something to enjoy here, but otherwise you’re not missing anything special.

Here are some the reviews left by critics as well:

  • The Guardian: “A forgettable high-budget espionage thriller that splurges on the genre’s opulence.”
  • The Hollywood Reporter: “A slick but ultimately disposable action thriller that does little to distinguish itself from the pack.”
  • Variety: “A serviceable but unremarkable spy thriller that benefits from Gal Gadot’s star power.”
  • The Wrap: “A stylish but empty action film that never quite engages on an emotional level.”
  • IndieWire: “A competent but unmemorable spy thriller that wastes the talents of its star.”
