Netflix’s September 2025 slate is led by some of its biggest returning originals, alongside new series and documentaries that broaden its global storytelling reach.
The month kicks off September 3 with Wednesday: Season 2 Part 2, as Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams continues her struggle at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital. After resurrecting the dead and uncovering unsettling family secrets in the first half of the season, she now faces new dangers—including her brother’s zombie companion—in a story that balances gothic mystery with Burton-esque absurdity.
On September 5, Netflix debuts Love Con Revenge, a docuseries following Cecilie Fjellhøy, one of the women featured in The Tinder Swindler. This time, she takes an active role in helping romance scam victims expose fraudsters and seek justice, teaming up with investigators to highlight the global reach of these cons.
September 11 brings the final chapter of Wolf King, a YA fantasy centered on Drew Ferran, a reluctant werewolf royal forced to reckon with his role as heir to a supernatural throne. The second season explores the consequences of power, loyalty, and betrayal as Drew’s world edges toward collapse.
Anime fans and gamers get their fix with Pokémon Concierge: Season 1 Part 2, arriving September 4, and Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 — The Search for Laqua Part 4, streaming September 26, continuing Netflix’s investment in Pokémon’s animated universe.
Later in the month, the highly anticipated Alice in Borderland: Season 3 lands September 25. Despite seemingly escaping the death games at the end of Season 2, Arisu and Usagi are drawn back into a new gauntlet by a mysterious professor, promising more high-stakes survival drama adapted from Haro Aso’s manga.
Other Netflix Originals rounding out the month include the return of Love Is Blind: Brazil – Season 5 and Love Is Blind: France (both September 10), as the global dating experiment continues to spin off into new markets. Drama and variety are also well represented with Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black: Season 2 (Sept. 11), the Indonesian series Ratu Ratu Queens (Sept. 12), Polish satire 1670: Season 2 (Sept. 17), and supernatural thriller Black Rabbit (Sept. 18).
With Wednesday, Alice in Borderland, and multiple global originals returning alongside documentaries and genre dramas, Netflix is leaning on proven fan favorites while continuing to diversify with regional productions.
