However, with a reported production budget of $300 million, the film has yet to break even based solely on its theatrical earnings.
F1’s strong box office performance comes despite competition from recent releases like Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman, with more contenders on the horizon—including Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Still, the film’s impressive momentum has sparked early discussions of a sequel.
