Black Mirror tops Netflix’s global charts with 10.6 million views

Netflix’s global Top 10 rankings are in, and Black Mirror Season 7 has emerged as the most-watched series on the platform this week. The dystopian anthology, known for its bleak social commentary and speculative tech nightmares, continues to command attention with 10.6 million views — the highest among English-language titles currently streaming.

The latest season spans six episodes, including Eulogy, a standout installment featuring Paul Giamatti in a role that blends introspection with the show’s signature unease. Charlie Brooker’s long-running series has always drawn a loyal following, but Season 7 seems to have struck a particularly strong chord globally, perhaps because its themes feel more prescient than ever.

Following Black Mirror, the Top 10 paints a picture of viewers’ current appetites — ranging from rural drama to dark documentaries. Ransom Canyon, a new entry set against the rugged backdrop of West Texas, takes second place with 7.2 million views. Adolescence, a youth-focused series, follows with 6 million. Meanwhile, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing taps into the true crime/documentary niche, racking up 4.2 million views as it explores the underbelly of child influencers and online fame.

Other series drawing significant global attention include fantasy staple A Discovery of Witches and the espionage thriller Special Ops: Lioness, both registering 3.4 million views. The medical drama Pulse and heist-centered The Diamond Heisthover just above the 3 million mark. Rounding out the list are the pro-wrestling docu-feature Raw: 2025 and the Canadian sitcom North of North, each pulling in just under 3 million views.

Netflix’s weekly chart offers more than just viewing stats — it reflects shifting trends in genre appeal and global storytelling. From intimate character dramas to genre-heavy epics, the current top shows reveal a diverse lineup. But if nothing else, the list affirms one thing: Black Mirror hasn’t lost its grip on the cultural conversation, even after more than a decade since its debut.
