Apple Original Films’ highly anticipated Formula 1® film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, is set for a global theatrical release on June 27, 2025, in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures.
The film, made in collaboration with Formula 1®, will take audiences deep into the thrilling world of F1® racing. Brad Pitt stars as a former driver making a comeback alongside teammate Damson Idris, as they compete against the sport’s top contenders.
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment, and Lewis Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films, this star-studded film boasts a cast that includes Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, and Emmy Award winner Tobias Menzies.
Director Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on “Top Gun: Maverick,” brings his signature style to this high-octane project. The film has been shot on location during actual Grand Prix weekends, immersing viewers in the heart-pounding action of the sport.
