Apple TV+ has unveiled a sneak peek at its upcoming live-action comedic adventure series, “Time Bandits,” a reimagining of the beloved cult classic film. The 10-episode series, created by Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris, and Taika Waititi, promises an unpredictable journey through time and space, filled with quirky humor and thrilling escapades.

The story follows a young history enthusiast named Kevin, who joins a band of eccentric time-traveling thieves led by the enigmatic leader, played by Lisa Kudrow. Together, they embark on a quest to save Kevin’s parents while navigating through various historical periods, from the creation of Stonehenge to the Trojan War and beyond. Along the way, they encounter dinosaurs, medieval knights, and even experience the Ice Age.

With a star-studded cast including Kal-El Tuck, Tadhg Murphy, and Roger Jean Nsengiyumva, and special guest appearances by Waititi and Clement themselves, “Time Bandits” promises to delight viewers of all ages.

The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content’s AC Studios, and MRC.Clement and Morris serve as co-showrunners, with all three creators executive producing and directing select episodes.

“Time Bandits” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on July 24th, with the first two episodes. New episodes will be released in pairs every Wednesday until August 21st.
