Apple TV+ has announced a new six-episode thriller series, “The Dispatcher,” starring Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall. This Australian-set drama follows Ian Hunt, a police dispatcher haunted by the disappearance of his daughter ten years prior. When he receives a distress call he believes is from his missing daughter, he embarks on a relentless pursuit to reunite his family, no matter the consequences.

Adapted by acclaimed writer Kris Mrksa from Ryan David Jahn’s award-winning novel, “The Dispatcher” promises to be a white-knuckle ride filled with suspense and emotional intensity. The series is executive produced by Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta of 60Forty Films, along with Kris Mrksa and Joanna Werner of Werner Film Productions.

“The Dispatcher” joins a growing lineup of acclaimed thrillers on Apple TV+, including “Hijack,” “Slow Horses,” and the recently announced “Down Cemetery Road.” This latest addition further solidifies Apple TV+’s commitment to delivering premium, compelling content to its global audience.
