Apple TV+ proves quality over quantity with stellar Emmy nominations

Apple TV+ has consistently prioritized quality over quantity in its programming, and the 2024 Emmy nominations further validate this strategy. Even without the Emmy-darling “Ted Lasso” in the running, Apple TV+ has secured major nominations across all major categories, solidifying its position as a powerhouse in original content.

Standout series like “Slow Horses” and “The Morning Show” lead the charge with nominations for Outstanding Drama Series and recognition for their lead actors Gary Oldman and Jennifer Aniston, respectively. The acclaimed comedy “Palm Royale” and its star Kristen Wiig are also vying for top honors in the comedy category, while “Lessons in Chemistry” and Brie Larson are contenders in the limited series category.

Apple TV+’s success extends beyond acting nominations, with the platform also receiving nods for production design, cinematography, and other technical categories.

The 2024 Emmy Awards ceremony, set to air on September 15th, will be a testament to Apple TV+’s continued success in delivering compelling and critically acclaimed content.
