The streaming calendar for 2026 reflects an industry that is still producing at volume, but with far clearer priorities than it had a few years ago. Familiar franchises, proven creators, and returning hits dominate most slates, while genuinely new ideas are often framed in ways that feel deliberately low-risk. For viewers in the Middle East and North Africa, that experience is further shaped by regional distribution, particularly where HBO content is concerned, which continues to arrive via OSN+, and Paramount titles, which are generally available through TOD. With those realities in mind, here is a complete, unified look at the biggest TV shows coming in 2026 across Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO and HBO Max, Apple TV+, Paramount, Hulu, and FX.

Netflix’s 2026 lineup leans into continuity while still leaving room for new entries. The year begins with His & Hers, a limited-series mystery centered on a journalist and a detective investigating the same murder from opposing angles.

Bridgerton returns for its fourth season later in January, shifting its romantic focus to Benedict Bridgerton and continuing the show’s rotational structure.

In March, One Piece: Into the Grand Line expands the live-action adaptation into riskier narrative territory as the Straw Hats enter the Grand Line. Netflix also revisits one of its most recognizable dramas with Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, a feature-length continuation set after the original series finale.

Elsewhere on the platform, science fiction series The Boroughs introduces an ensemble cast facing a supernatural threat in a desert retirement community, while Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 extends the franchise through animation. Returning favorites and extensions include Avatar: The Last Airbender season two, the film-length conclusion Heartstopper Forever, the comedy Golf starring Will Ferrell, and a serialized reimagining of Man on Fire.

HBO’s 2026 slate, available in MENA via OSN+, remains rooted in long-running brands and prestige dramas. The Pitt returns for a second season early in the year, continuing its hospital-focused storytelling, followed closely by Industry season four, which revisits the intense culture of global finance.

One of the year’s most closely watched releases is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a prequel set roughly a century before Game of Thrones that follows Ser Duncan the Tall and his young companion Egg.

Later in the year, Euphoria returns with a time jump beyond high school, while House of the Dragon continues its civil war narrative in season three. Comedy and character-driven drama remain part of the mix with The Comeback season three, Hacks season five, and The Gilded Age season four. Genre expansions round out the lineup, including Lanterns, a grounded DC series, and Dune: Prophecy season two.

Disney+ continues to build its 2026 strategy around Marvel, Star Wars, and established family brands. Wonder Man arrives as a limited Marvel series exploring the uneasy overlap between celebrity culture and superhero mythology.

Daredevil: Born Again returns for its second season, continuing Marvel’s darker, street-level storytelling. Animation remains a key pillar, with X-Men ’97 season two, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season two, and new Star Wars projects including Maul – Shadow Lord and The Ninth Jedi. Disney+ also leans into nostalgia with a special revival of The Muppet Show marking the original series’ 50th anniversary.

Prime Video’s most prominent 2026 titles include Scarpetta, a crime drama led by Nicole Kidman that moves between past and present, and the fifth and final season of The Boys, which brings its satirical take on superheroes to a planned conclusion. The platform also expands its science fiction credentials with Blade Runner 2099, a series set decades after the films and designed to carry the franchise forward in episodic form.

Apple TV+ continues to prioritize star-led, character-focused storytelling. Shrinking returns for a third season, maintaining its balance of humor and emotional fallout. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters expands Apple’s involvement in the MonsterVerse with a second season that leans more heavily into established mythology. New additions include Margo’s Got Money Troubles, a family drama centered on financial instability and ambition, and Widow’s Bay, a series that blends small-town politics with supernatural horror elements.

Paramount’s 2026 television output, available to MENA audiences via TOD, is led by franchise television. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy introduces a younger ensemble navigating training, rivalries, and external threats, while Star Trek: Strange New Worlds returns for a fourth season. The platform also continues Yellowjackets toward its conclusion, extends Dexter: Resurrection with a second season, and adds The Madison, another expansion of the Yellowstone universe.

Hulu, which is expected to be fully integrated into Disney+ during 2026, still has a defined slate of original programming. Paradise returns for a second season, following its post-apocalyptic narrative beyond the bunker and into the outside world. The platform also revives Malcolm in the Middle with a short-run miniseries set decades after the original, and adapts Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments, returning to the world of Gilead through the perspective of a new generation.

FX (also on Disney+ in the MENA) remains focused on high-intensity, creator-driven series. The Bear returns for a fifth season after significant upheaval in its previous run, continuing to examine ambition and burnout in and around the restaurant industry. FX also introduces The Beauty, a crime drama that merges fashion, power, and violence through an investigation into a series of high-profile deaths.

Across all platforms, the biggest TV shows coming in 2026 point to an industry focused less on experimentation and more on reinforcement. Franchises are being stretched outward rather than replaced, familiar characters are being revisited rather than retired, and regional platforms like OSN+ and TOD are increasingly central to how global audiences actually access premium television.
