WWE Clash in Paris: John Cena vs Logan Paul headlines Netflix’s live spectacle

Wrestling fans are about to close out the summer with a bang. WWE Clash in Paris is set for this Sunday, August 31, and for the first time, the event will be streamed live on Netflix across the region.

This marks only the second premium WWE event to take place in Paris, but the match card is stacked with generational battles, championship clashes, and grudge matches that promise plenty of drama.

Cena vs Paul: Generations Collide

The headline attraction sees 16-time world champion John Cena squaring off against YouTuber-turned-WWE-star Logan Paul. Cena’s career is built on “hustle, loyalty, respect,” while Paul thrives on controversy and brashness. Their face-off feels like a symbolic clash of old-school WWE values and new-age entertainment.

World Heavyweight Fatal 4-Way

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line in a Fatal 4-Way match. Current champ Seth Rollins, fresh off cashing in his Money in the Bank contract in what WWE is calling “The Ruse of the Century,” defends against CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight.

Women’s Intercontinental Spotlight

In the women’s division, Becky Lynch defends the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title against Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, who returned to issue the challenge after months of Lynch dominating the scene.

Grudge Matches Heat Up

Elsewhere on the card, Roman Reigns faces powerhouse Bronson Reed, who’s been taunting Reigns by stealing his sneakers and dubbing himself “The Tribal Thief.” Fans will also get a hard-hitting brawl when Sheamus meets Rusev in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match — a stipulation born after weeks of chaotic backstage fights.

When and Where to Watch

WWE Clash in Paris streams live on Netflix on Sunday, August 31. For Middle East viewers, the broadcast kicks off on Monday, September 1 at 3:00 AM UAE / 2:00 AM KSA.
