MMA fans in the Middle East and North Africa are in for a packed weekend, with two major fight cards streaming live and exclusively on STARZPLAY.
On Friday, October 3, the Professional Fighters League returns to Dubai for PFL Champions Series: Road to Dubai – The Rematch. The main event sees undefeated lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov (19-0, 1 NC) defend his title against Ireland’s Paul Hughes (14-2) in a highly anticipated rematch. Headlining the card is a Light Heavyweight Championship rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira, following their previous meeting at UFC 313. In the co-main, Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili looks to extend his 13-fight win streak against Cory Sandhagen. The main card is rounded out by Jiri Prochazka vs Khalil Rountree Jr., Josh Emmett vs Youssef Zalal, and Abus Magomedov vs Joe Pyfer.
