Tiny Toons Looniversity is heading back to class, with its second season premiering across the Middle East and North Africa on Cartoon Network HD starting November 3, 2025. Airing weekdays at 4 p.m. KSA (5 p.m. in the UAE), the revival of Steven Spielberg’s animated spin on the Looney Tunes universe continues with more light-hearted mischief and nostalgic humor.
Produced by Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Animation, Season 2 brings back executive producer Spielberg alongside returning showrunners Erin Gibson and Nate Cash. The creative team remains focused on preserving the classic Warner Bros. cartoon energy while updating the tone and pacing for modern audiences. Animation direction once again comes from Emiko “T-Bone” Sawonobori, ensuring visual continuity with the first season’s playful, expressive look.
This season returns to ACME Looniversity, where familiar faces—Babs and Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, and Sweetie Bird—continue their slapstick education under the tutelage of the original Looney Tunes legends. The sophomore-year setting shifts the focus slightly toward friendship and teamwork, while keeping the gags, pranks, and exaggerated classroom antics that define the show. Episodes lean on the same balance of zany physical comedy and self-aware parody that the Tiny Toons franchise has always been known for, offering quick laughs for kids and nostalgic nods for long-time fans.
Season 2 features ten new 22-minute episodes, plus two two-part specials slated for seasonal breaks. The specials are designed as slightly larger, event-style stories to coincide with school holidays, giving Cartoon Network HD a flexible programming anchor for the year.
For families in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or elsewhere in the UAE, the weekday 5 p.m. time slot provides an accessible after-school viewing window. The short, self-contained stories make it easy for younger viewers to jump in without needing to follow an overarching plot.
With Spielberg’s continued involvement and a production team that blends veteran animation leadership with contemporary sensibilities, Tiny Toons Looniversity’s second year aims to maintain its balance of chaos and charm. The series continues to serve as a bridge between generations—keeping the spirit of Looney Tunes alive while giving today’s audiences a lively, colorful entry point into that world.
