Prime Video to stream full Emirates NBA Cup 2025 live across UAE and MENA

Prime Video will stream the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup live across the UAE and the wider MENA region, bringing basketball fans closer to one of the sport’s most competitive in-season tournaments. The event tips off on October 31 with Group Play and continues through the Knockout Rounds in December, culminating in the Championship Game in Las Vegas on December 16.

All 30 NBA teams will participate in the tournament, which adds a new layer of competition to the regular season. Each team will play four Group Play games — two at home and two on the road — across the Eastern and Western conferences. The top eight teams from these rounds will advance to the Quarterfinals on December 9 and 10, followed by the Semifinals on December 13 and the Championship on December 16, where one team will lift the Emirates NBA Cup trophy.

The Emirates NBA Cup is part of Prime Video’s expanding regional sports catalog and stems from the platform’s 11-year global media rights deal with the NBA. The agreement includes live coverage of 67 regular-season games, postseason action, and exclusive access to both NBA and WNBA matchups. The tournament’s presence on Prime Video strengthens the service’s role in sports streaming within the UAE, where basketball’s following continues to grow.

Fans can expect a packed schedule of marquee games, including high-profile matchups such as the Boston Celtics versus the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers versus the Memphis Grizzlies during the opening weekend. The schedule also features a mix of traditional rivalries and interconference clashes, including Lakers vs. Celtics on December 5 and a Black Friday doubleheader on November 28.

By hosting the Emirates NBA Cup on Prime Video, basketball fans in the UAE gain access to every stage of the competition, from Group Play to the Championship. The coverage aims to offer a comprehensive viewing experience for both long-time followers and newer audiences discovering the sport through streaming platforms.
