OSN+ is highlighting HBO’s strong showing at the 77th Emmy Awards, where the network walked away with 30 wins across multiple genres—tying for the highest number of awards by any distributor this year. With 140 nominations spanning 22 titles, HBO reinforced its reputation for delivering series that blend critical acclaim with mainstream appeal. In the Middle East and North Africa, these titles are available exclusively on OSN+ and OSNtv.

Among the standouts was The Penguin, HBO’s Gotham-set crime drama starring Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot. The show, which expanded on the world of The Batman, won nine awards including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series (Cristin Milioti) and Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup, while earning 24 nominations overall. The Pitt, a medical drama led by Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa, secured five awards, including Best Drama Series and Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Wyle. The series was recognized for its balance of realism and high-stakes storytelling, picking up 23 nominations in total.

On the comedy front, Hacks continued its momentum into its fourth season with 14 nominations. Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder’s performances again drew praise, with the show taking home three awards, including Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Beyond these frontrunners, several other HBO titles contributed to the tally. The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, and others collected awards across categories such as Outstanding Scripted Variety Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Jeff Hiller), and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Drama Series (One Hour). Collectively, the results underscore HBO’s range—from fantasy epics to contemporary dramas and sharp comedies.

For OSN+, the recognition offers an opportunity to showcase its role as the exclusive regional platform for HBO programming. The service reports that HBO shows remain among the most-watched content in its library, a trend likely to strengthen as more subscribers look to catch up on this year’s award-winning series.

All nominated and award-winning HBO titles are currently streaming on OSN+ and available via OSNtv, positioning the platform as the go-to destination for viewers in the Middle East seeking acclaimed television from one of the most decorated networks in the industry.
