Apple TV is expanding its holiday programming lineup for 2025, adding two new original specials alongside returning seasonal favorites and select free-to-watch offerings. The platform’s end-of-year slate includes the debut of The Family Plan 2 and The First Snow of Fraggle Rock, as well as limited free streaming windows for the Peanuts classics and a curated catalog of returning holiday titles.
Premiering November 21, The Family Plan 2 continues the 2023 action-comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan. The sequel trades suburban life for a European holiday backdrop, where Wahlberg’s character, Dan, faces unexpected trouble when a figure from his past—played by Kit Harington—resurfaces. What follows is a blend of family dynamics and high-energy escapades featuring car chases, bank heists, and holiday misadventures across scenic European locations.
Arriving December 5, The First Snow of Fraggle Rock is an all-new holiday special from The Jim Henson Company. Featuring musical artist Lele Pons, the story finds the Fraggles eagerly awaiting their annual snowfall, only to be thrown off when just one snowflake appears. Gobo’s journey to the “human world” in search of inspiration brings a heartfelt message about imperfection and family traditions, while Junior Gorg navigates the arrival of a new sibling. The special joins Apple’s growing library of Fraggle Rock content.

In addition to its new titles, Apple TV is again offering limited-time free streaming for its beloved Peanuts holiday specials. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will be available to all viewers on November 15 and 16, followed by A Charlie Brown Christmas on December 13 and 14. Both are typically available year-round to Apple TV+ subscribers but become accessible to everyone during these weekends.
Other highlights in the platform’s seasonal lineup include Spirited, the 2022 musical comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, which reimagines A Christmas Carol from the perspective of the ghosts. The film’s music, by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land), and its energetic performances have helped it become one of Apple’s most popular modern holiday releases. Fans of Ted Lasso can also revisit Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, a musical special featuring Waddingham and several castmates in a festive concert performance.
With a mix of new premieres, returning favorites, and nostalgic specials, Apple TV’s 2025 holiday slate continues its focus on family-friendly programming and accessible seasonal entertainment.
