Xiaomi has raised more than $1 billion in its latest funding hunt, the company is now valued at more than $45 billion making it one of the most valuable technology startups in the world.
Xiaomi overtook Samsung in China in the last quarter and shipped 18 million smartphones, making the company the fourth biggest smartphone maker globally behind Samsung, Apple, and Huawei and the biggest in China.
The latest round of investments is led by All-Stars Investment and is expected to close on Monday.
