Xiaomi has expanded its wearable lineup with the global release of the Watch S4 41 mm, a compact smartwatch first introduced in China earlier this year. The device is priced at €159.99 in the EU, with a Milanese Strap edition available for €219.99.
The Watch S4 41 mm features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, offering sharp visuals in both indoor and outdoor settings. Despite its smaller frame, the watch integrates a redesigned heart rate module intended to deliver more precise readings, particularly during exercise. Alongside continuous heart rate monitoring, the device supports sleep tracking and introduces a 21-day sleep optimization program designed to encourage healthier habits.
For outdoor activity, the watch includes a dual-band GNSS module, which improves GPS accuracy during activities such as hiking, running, and cycling. It supports over 150 sports modes, ranging from swimming to skiing, while also offering skin temperature monitoring that enhances features like female cycle prediction.

On the software side, the Watch S4 41 mm runs on Xiaomi’s in-house HyperOS 2 rather than Google’s Wear OS. This operating system provides tighter integration with other Xiaomi devices and services, while also supporting connections to platforms like Suunto and Health Connect for detailed performance and wellness data.
Battery performance is rated at up to eight days under light usage. Other features include customizable widgets, a rotating crown for simplified navigation, a vlog mode that lets users remotely control their phone’s camera, and an SOS button for emergencies.
The launch of the Watch S4 41 mm comes as part of a broader product rollout in Munich, where Xiaomi also unveiled its 15T series smartphones, the Xiaomi Pad Mini, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, and the Xiaomi OpenWear Pro earbuds.
