300,000 Apps is not even close to Apple’s iOS store and Google’s Play store for Android, but Windows Phone is steadily gaining ground.
Recent update on Microsoft’s “by the numbers” page revealed that the Windows phone store is now at 300,000 apps and growing, more than doubling in size since February last year.
Over the last year and as a strategy, Microsoft has been offering cash rewards to developers launching apps on Windows Phone, finally bringing some must have apps to the platform.
