After a few weeks of confusion and invite-only activations, WhatsApp is finally rolling out the new calling feature to all users.
Activating voice calling in WhatsApp doesn’t require an invite anymore, the feature is openly available with the latest version of WhatsApp for Android. Once installed, you should see a Calls log tab in the top menu.
This feature is rolling out from server-side, so it might take a while to appear, have patience…..unless you reside in the UAE, then there is no point in waiting, the service is still unfortunately blocked.
