Twitter testing different ways to discover products

Twitter is a conversation ground for many topics, including products, books, and places, but so far the company hasn’t capitalised on that asset – until now.

Some features are being tested on how to organise information regarding products and brands with actionable functions, such as product purchasing. These will be present on a dedicated page which shows relevant tweets, videos, and information on the product, as shown in the below example for ‘The Martian’ book.

Additionally, twitter is testing different ways for people and brands to showcase their collections. A few are already available for show, such as The Best of Ellen Shop and Nike’s LeBron Elite Collection.
