The magic screen protector that gives your iPhone a back button

We love a good Kickstarter campaign, and this is definitely one of them!

As we all know, iPhones only come with a single home button, unlike Android devices which features keys like home, multitasking and a back buttons which to many users are essential as screen sizes get bigger with every generation, and the guys at Haloband Inc. seems to think so as well.

The company has recently launched a screen protector on Kickstarter called the Halo Back that gives your iPhone a “back” button at the bottom left of the screen.

How does this work?

The screen protector is fitted with an invisible circuit that connects the area where the “Back” button is on the top of the display to an empty area on the left of the home button. By tapping on that empty spot, the current will lead the signal from top to bottom and the phone will react the same way to when  you’re tapping the back button at the top.

The screen protector itself is made from a high-grade tempered glass and is resistant to scratches.
