Apple took a cue from the Lumia lines when they released the very colourful 5c models, and since then, we’ve been left with silver, “space grey”, gold and “rose gold”. If rumours are true, then it’s possible that we will be getting a “deep blue” in the line up.
Not sure how that’ll look on the iPhone — particularly the Plus — but more colour variety is certainly welcome.
That said, most likely you’ll be getting a protective cover and see little of the colour anyway.
