Steve Ballmer has resigned from Microsoft a mere eight months after he left his position as CEO, ending his 34 year relationship with the company – although he remains Microsoft’s top individual shareholder. Ballmer handed his duties to Satya Nadella earlier in February and has recently bought the Los Angeles Clippers for $2 billion.
I want to be a great shareholder and I want to pay appropriate attention to my shares but between teaching classes and my new responsibilities at the Clippers and my civic duties, it’s a lot. I love Microsoft.
