Sony Xperia Z4 announced

Sony Mobile has unveiled its latest Android smartphone flagship, the Xperia Z4. The new flagship is expected to launch mid 2015 in Japan.

The Sony Xperia Z4 is 6.9mm thin, weighs 144 grams, features a metal frame with a 5.2-inch screen (1080 x 1920) and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 with 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, a 128GB capacity microSD slot and a 2930mAh battery. The Z4 houses a 20.7MP back camera with a wide angle 5.1MP front snapper.

The Sony Xperia Z4 will be available in Black, White, Copper and Aqua Green with IP6 certification for dust and IP5/IP8 certification for water.

No announcement has been made yet on international markets launch date.
