It seems that some users of Apple’s new iPad Pro have run into some minor inconvenience, citing that their new device is rendered non-responsive after a recharge. Problems include the device either not waking up at all or not registering any tough or home button presses.
Thankfully, the devices are not bricked, and the temporary remedy for anyone experiencing this problem is to perform a hard reset until Apple figures out and patches the issue.
To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Apple is aware of this issue and is investigating.
Minor problems are not uncommon in new hardware launches. In fact, the Urbane 2 LTE has been completely canned altogether due to complications.
