Good news, you can now use Skype’s new Web app regardless of where you live.
Microsoft has announced that the web interface is now available worldwide and works with Chrome OS and Linux, in addition to Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox on Windows and OS X.
The beta supports the following languages:
Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, English, German, Greek, Spanish, Estonian, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional.

For now, a plugin is required to make calls, but the company has previously said that it will utilize WebRTC in the future so that you don’t need to install any plugins to get it working.
