Samsung Electronics Co. said it will start selling its first bendable Ultra HD TV this week. The 78-inch UHD TV will be available for pre-orders in South Korea from August 1st.
Users can enjoy a different experience through the bendable UHD TV,” said Kim Hyun-suk, an official from Samsung’s display division. “We will continue our efforts to generate new TV markets.
Users will be able to select whether they want to watch a movie or regular TV on a traditional flat plane or with curved view.
The model will be first launched in Samsung’s home and will go international by the end of this year. The approximate price tag on the TV is around 34,000$.
