Samsung has announced 2 new smartphones and said it’s the thinnest smartphone it introduced to date. The Galaxy A5 and A3 measure 6.7mm and 6.9mm in thickness.
The Galaxy A5 is a five-inch smartphone, with a 720p Super AMOLED display powered by a 1.2GHz processor, 2GB RAM, a 15-megapixel back camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera.
The Galaxy A3 is a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED smartphone also powered by a 1.2GHz processor with an 8-megapixel back camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera.
And of course, they’re selfie-friendly and feature what Samsung calls Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie, Animated GIF, Beauty Face Features, and Rear-cam Selfie. Samsung says the new phones automatically detect and focus on faces.
Both devices are set to launch in China next month, with other markets to follow.
