Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy A7, the largest and slimmest smartphone in the A range. The first phones in the “A” category were launched back in October 2014.
The A7 is a 5.5-inch display smartphone with a 720p Super AMOLED screen housed in a slim 6.3-inch body protected by a metal rim, and weighs in at 141g. The device will be powered by a 2,600mAh battery. The A7 also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixels front facing one.
The Galaxy A7 will come in 2 different versions, featuring a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC or a 32-bit Exynos 5430 chip. Both chipsets will feature an octa-core CPUs.
The LTE version will ship with the 64-bit Snapdragon 615 CPU while the dual-SIM model will come with the Exynos 5430 chip.
Both options will have 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot.
