The Simpsons appears to be losing a key team member.
Harry Shearer, the man behind the voices of some our beloved Simpsons characters like Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Waylon Smithers and Principal Skinner tweeted that his contract on the show will not be renewed.
Shearer also quoted Lawyers representing James L. Brooks, The Simpsons’ executive producer who said:
Show will go on, Harry will not be part of it, wish him the best
TMZ reported that renewal of seasons 27th and 28th of The Simpsons were being delayed by Shearer, who had issues with merchandising rights.
So sad to see The Simpsons losing the man behind some of its best characters after 26 years.
