Having enough juice in your smartphone is vital these days, and as technology evolves, devices tend to demand more and more battery life forcing users to pack battery banks and extra batteries (if applicable). But what if your emergency power source fails you or doesn’t hold up when that perfect selfie moment comes?!!
Enter Plan V!
Plan V is the ongoing work of two geeks from Australia who think they have the answer to our battery problems. It’s really simple, Plan V is a small device capable of using the widely available 9-Volt battery to give your smartphone a quick boost. let’s call it a car jumper cable for smartphones.
The actual product Weighs in at only 7 grams and is small enough to fit in your keyring.
Plan V is a Kickstarter project and requires your support to get to production phase. If you like what you see, then you can simply make a $10 donation and secures a microUSB version with delivery expected around February, assuming the crowdfunding campaign reaches its $30,000 goal.
Plan V creators have also said that they will also introduce a Lightning version of the Plan V for iPhones if the campaign is successful.
