Congratulations, Mac owners! Microsoft has finally updated Office for Mac – Office 2016 – and is now available for all 365 subscribers and will be ready for a one-time purchase in September.

Office 2016 is retina-ready and looks aesthetically nearly identical to the Windows counterparts, a welcome move to have a unified look and feel to the applications across multiple platforms.
The updated suite benefitted from the collaborative work between Microsoft and the Mac users who test-drove the beta, gathering over 100’000 pieces of feedback. Microsoft also promised to release an update every quarter, a move that assures Mac owners will not be neglected.
