Obi Mobiles is set to showcase its range of smartphones at Gitex Shopper Spring 2015, running from 1 – 4 April. As a promotion partner for the event, Obi Mobiles will be offering consumers deals of up to 40% to 50% off on Obi devices, as well as a variety of value-added product bundles with accessories, two phones for the price of one, accessories and vouchers.
Targeted at the growing population of young and trendy smartphone users, Obi Mobiles has already captured over 4% of the UAE smartphone market in the first five weeks of 2015. The firm now aims to capture 10% of the UAE smartphone market by the end of this year.

The rate of smartphone penetration in the UAE is very high, with 78% of the population using a smartphone according to Nielsen’s 2014 report.
