Nvidia has posted legal documents on their website of a current lawsuit they are fighting with Qualcomm and Samsung and accusing them of infringing seven of their GPU patients.
In the document, Nvidia states:
The HTC Nexus 9, expected in the third quarter of 2014, is also expected to use the Tegra K1.
The above basically confirms the rumour that have been circulating for a while now about a new Nexus tablet made by HTC, which will essentially replace the Nexus 7 which was made by ASUS.
HTC sent out invitations for a “double exposure” event on October 8th, but there is no confirmation whether the Nexus 9 will make an appearance or not.
