Nokia, the company that has become synonymous with the word indestructible. The Finnish company needs no introduction unless you’re in your Tweens or younger. It’s been years since we’ve heard anything from the technology company, until last month, when it was revealed they were working on a smartphone. Now, we know a bit more about the Nokia 6.
But only a bit. Called the Nokia 6, the new smartphone will only be available in the Far East, in China upon its release sometime this year. Thankfully, HMD Global, the company that is manufacturing the Nokia branded smartphones, are planning to unveil additional smartphones. The date was dropped in a teaser video posted on the company’s Facebook page. Nothing else is known about the Nokia 6, other than that it will sport Android as its OS. Will the smartphone mark the comeback of indestructible phones? Or is that feature still left in the annals of memedom.
