Today, Nikon Middle East launched their high-end D810 full-frame DSLR in the Middle East, aimed in particular at advanced and professional videographers and film makers as well as advanced and professional photographers.
The D810 offers the ability to record Full HD video, and for stills you have a full-frame 36.3MP sensor with an ISO range of 64-12800 (native). It is a step up from the D800, without an optical low-pass filter (sharper images) while retaining rich tonality. The EXPEED 4 chip powers up the camera.
The camera will retail for AED 13,999.
After some wonderful and moving presentations by guru photographers Craig Kolesky and Adrian Steirn and learning from their journey as photographers as well as their experience with the D810, we were hauled onto a seaplane for a tour to test out the camera by taking photos of Dubai from the sky. We haven’t received the images yet as of this writing but here are some iPhone snaps of the experience.
