Nike to sell Self-Lacing ‘Back To The Future 2’ Sneakers this year

Nike has confirmed that they are releasing self-lacing, light up sneakers, yes the very same Nike Air Mags that Marty McFly wore back in ’89’ in Back To The Future 2 and you could potentially get a pair this year.*

Nice Kicks reported earlier that Nike proposes to sell these without giving a specific time or pricing but be assured that you’re going to shell a lot considering these are shoes that lace themselves up. Tinker Hatfield, the original designer of the Nike MAG sneaker that was seen in the film has said that he and his team are working towards releasing a line of “power lace” shoes. The release is iconic since it’s the year that Doc and Marty McFly are sent into the future (that’s so meta).
