Google is rolling out a new addition to the Smart Lock feature in Lollipop. “On-body detection” is a new auto unlock that uses the phone’s accelerometers to figure out when you’re holding or carrying your device in your pocket.

Once activated, the device will stay unlocked as long as it detects that it’s being held or carried in a pocket, bag, or anything in close proximity to the user’s body. When the phone doesn’t detect movement, it locks up.

Google is rolling out the feature on some devices running both Android 5.0 and 5.1. To activate, head to Settings > Security > Smart Lock.
