Couple of weeks ago, rumours surfaced that Microsoft is working on a new web browser for Windows 10 codenamed Spartan. New details about the Spartan Windows 10 browser have surfaced again indicating the browser will have new features not present in any other browser.
Sources claim that Spartan will include a new inking support which allows users to annotate a web page using a stylus and then share those notes or annotations. Microsoft’s Cortana assistant will also be present in Spartan to allow voice search.
Spartan will be designed to be a single browser on PCs, tablets, and phones. It has also been said that Microsoft will launch Spartan on the Windows Store app, enabling quick updates.
Microsoft isn’t giving any details about this new browser, but an announcement is expected on January 21st with the Windows 10 event.
