Microsoft to host Azure summit in UAE

With an unprecedented step in the MEA (Middle-East and Africa region), Microsoft Gulf is ready to host the first-ever Azure Summit, a two-day technology extravaganza on 9th and 10th December at the Waldorf Astoria, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The event will  introduce the Cloud Computing Platform – Azure, for IT professionals to gain valuable information and help achieve complex business objectives.

Michael Kögeler, COO & CMO – Microsoft Middle East & Africa, who will deliver his first Keynote Address at the inaugural session of the summit said

We are pleased to hold the first Azure Summit in the Middle East & Africa that has been tailored especially for IT Professionals to help them build the skills they need to tackle challenges and gain valuable insights on the diverse uses of Cloud Computing. Microsoft Azure is an innovative platform that is; hybrid, flexible, economical, scalable and available everywhere making it ideal for startups as well as large organizations and governments. More than 57 percent of the Fortune 500 companies around the world have already moved to Azure.

The Azure Summit will attract over 250 IT Professionals and decision makers from across the region, and will feature two days of interactive sessions covering technical content on Microsoft Azure for the IT pros. Key discussions will include; Introduction and Migration to Microsoft Azure for infrastructure professionals, Networking and Virtual Machines, Storage and Business Intelligence Scenarios, as well as extending Data Center into Azure.
