Microsoft is set to release its own wearable device in the “coming few weeks”, according to a report by Forbes.
The details so far are nothing extraordinary – heart rate monitoring and smart watch capabilities – but Microsoft probably has some surprises up its sleeve. What is interesting, though, is that it will work across all mobile platforms instead of locking you into an ecosystem as the Samsung Gear does and what the Apple Watch will do. This will certainly be a more appealing option to many who might not want to switch to Windows Phone.
The second feature that will be welcome is the battery life which will last you two whole days of regular use. So far that’s all there is but we’re sure we will be seeing leaks and more information as the launch draws nearer.
