Microsoft has announced the availability of the Arabic version of the recently released office 2016 for Mac to cater for its Arabic speaking customers. All new features of the software as well as its apps have been customised to help Arabic users especially in the Middle East have a more personalised experience.

Office 2016 for Mac is now available in 21 languages with the latest updates featuring better support for Right-to-Left languages. The Arabic Office 2016 for Mac features significant improvements in performance and stability. The new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote provide the best of both worlds for Mac users, with the familiar Office experience paired with the best of Mac.

Microsoft goes an extra mile to enable all its customers to fully benefit from its products and services. Our Arabic speaking customers form a significant share of the Microsoft market and we always want to give them a more personalised experience by customising our products in their local languages. The Arabic version of Office 2016 broadens our appeal to Office users especially in the Middle East and North Africa. We believe that this will enable businesses, individuals, students, government departments as well as educators to boost their services, enhance productivity and contribute to the growth of the region’s economy. Ihsan Anabtawi, Regional Manager – Applications and Services, Microsoft Gulf

Arabic users of Office on PCs and iPad will find Office 2016 for Mac easy to navigate with the familiar ribbon interface and powerful task panes. They will also have the modernized Office experience and the integration of Mac capabilities like Full Screen view and Multi-TouchTM gestures.

Office for Mac is cloud-connected, so users can quickly get to the documents they recently used on other devices and pick up where they left off. New, built-in document sharing tools make it easy to invite teammates to work on a document together. Office for Mac offers compatibility with Office on PCs, tablets, phones and online, allaying any worries about losing content or formatting. Office 2016 for Mac is embedded with features that include Word for Mac, Excel for Mac, PowerPoint for Mac, Outlook for Mac and OneNote for Mac.
