Microsoft has warned users on Windows 7 to uninstall an update that was released on December 10th. The update (KB3004394) apparently has a bug that prevents future updates that could fix it to be installed. Windows 8 users are said to be unaffected by this update.
Microsoft has released a removal tool for this update, alternatively, users can manually remove the update by navigating to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates, and right-click on KB3004394 update to uninstall it.
Microsoft didn’t specify all the problems related to this update but AMD’s Robert Hallock said the update can cause problems with installation of new drivers related to graphics.
